Florida police have arrested a man for refusing to
leave a prison's grounds. Pasco County police say
they found the 21-year-old trespassing on Zephyrhills
Correctional Institution's property. They say prison
officers asked him to leave several times but he
refused.
A taxi driver in Texas drove for over an hour non-stop
in city centre traffic after a passenger told him a
bomb would explode if he stopped. Police in Austin
say the passenger tried to rob the driver of the
American Yellow Checker cab. Officers say the
passenger then jumped from the cab and escaped
after warning the driver not to stop.
A teenager has been charged with terrorism after
he allegedly plotted to poison the punch at a school
dance in Iowa. The 15 year old boy was arrested after
reports that he planned to spike the punch at the
Villisca High School prom. Local police chief Butch
Rulla says he received information that the schoolboy
had schemed to use a substance that would make
people seriously ill or kill them.
