Thanks, Ian. I suspect that bus terminal arrangements in Porthcawl were altered following the closing of the railway. ISTR that a number of services used to terminate at the station, and others in KA Square. A new north-south road (The Portway, A4106) has been built since then (on the railway track bed ?) that effectively closed off the east end of Knights Arms Square, so it is now effecively a cul-de-sac.
