Subject: Ghost of Christmas past. Tanat Valley, 266 G166 EOG

I make to apologies for posting another Tanat Valley, Leyland Lynx photo. The attached shot is now really the 'Ghost of Christmas past' now no active examples are left in the fleet (all for one withdrawn example) for the first Christmas in a good six plus years. 266 G166 EOG is was found >operating a cross-border D78 service from Llangynog to Oswestry, seen a short distance away at Trefonen which is just in Shropshire. On the day myself and a friend on the group were waiting to photograph here expecting another Lynx to come (in lieu of the VOR Solo) but this example >came, looking very clean for a winters day. Shamefully even the former Crosville route number 'D' prefix no longer exists following Powys changes in late August 2011.

Nice seasonal pic, Chris.

Yes, a bit of a negative 'double whammy' there. No Lynxes any more and (thanks, Powys Council, for nothing...) no traditional 'D' style route numbers either.

Pah.
