Thanks Simon

There has been alot of changes in this area in 12 months, sadly not
for the interest levels it local enthusiasts. The 'D' prefixes were a
sad loss of something that was quite well known in the Oswestry area,
a shame really.

Seemingly looking back 12 months ago and Tanat had 3 Lynxes and 5
Olympians in service making 8 Leylands in use, now down to just 3
Leyland Olympians. I made the joke to Steve the last few Christmas
periods we should celebrate 'Lynxmas' and go and chase a few for
photos and enjoy some rides as we often did! I seem to recall around
the same Christmas as the photo that 266 wa taken we had a week or so
previously caught 230 from Welshpool whilst it made a rare appearance
on the X75 to Llanidloes, then full Llanidloes to Shrewsbury and back
to Ford to get the D74, ah memories!

As for Steve's comment, yep Glyn indeed went over to ARRIVA, some of
my favourite Lynxes rides were when he was at the controls, we
certainly put them to go ont he way home from work.
