Hi

Perhaps someone remembers my post about adding a sleep before starting
the g_main_event_loop in the gaim libraries two weeks ago. I just
downloaded rc2 and the problem still seems to exist. Does someone know
what would be the easiest way for the gaim-thread to ensure that it can
start to report events? My workaround is still to add the mentioned
sleep. This way I do not have any startup-crashes at all. Rc2 also runs
fine as long as I do not have any IM-accounts configured. This is on
Ubuntu Feisty.

Dave: You wrote that you didn't have any problems... Perhaps your
mashine is faster than mine :)
