Acknowledging a feature request doesn't really amount to fixing it, though.

But there's a separate thing, from the original request:

I'd like this report to be kept open until the server has a feature to
randomly pick one MotD from a fixed set (or one random QotD to accompany the
standard MotD).
I believe this feature would greatly facilitate the MP devs to actually
implement this, as they wouldn't have to _manually_ set the QotD each time.
Simply creating the QotD file (and updating it as needed) would then
suffice.
So, please revert the status to "none".
