Thanks for the feedback!
1. OK, this change belonged to my other patch anyway. I can't find the
null_markup() method.
2. I removed it and tried to make both work, didn't get to test yet, though.
3. Yep, fixed.
4. OK, done.
5. I didn't see that use_menu also affects the return value, I made a new
variable "has_input" and replaced "use_menu" anywhere where it actually
stands for "has_input".
I will upload a file that includes all my modifications, hope that's OK.
