Details:
Issue:
Wesnoth loads ok creates the cache fine draws 'Battle of wesnoth' on the
start map - then the window closes without error.
Top indicates that wesnoth is not running.
Stuff I have tried:
1. Uninstall re-install - removed all previous versions (I think) from the
home directory.
Initially I downloaded it from Yast openSuse directories as this worked fine
in the past (i.e. I assume they release binaries).
Tried the openSuse 1 click install - same issue.
2. Some blogs mention a missing preferences file - I copied the preferences
file from the .\wesnoth1.6 to the .\wesnoth1.8. Because it was missing.
http://www.wesnoth.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=27071 indicates that I need to
compile the source. -- (dritt i helvete)
There is no sav file because I can't find one.
Is there another way?
