Follow-up Comment #3, bug #15330 (project wesnoth):
Why not add "smallgui" as a flag in the preferences file. That way if you set
it once it sticks. As it is you need to start Wesnoth from a command line each
time with the --smallgui switch
As it stands, I wouldn't call this fixed -- those of us trying to run on
small screen devices need to remind the program each time.
