Thanks and confirmed. Could reproduce in 1.8 but not in trunk r51441. The
item saving/loading code was heavily rewritten by silene since 1.8 so this
doesn't surprise me.
Marking "won't fix" since 1.8.6 was the very last 1.8 release.
