Follow-up Comment #1, bug #19492 (project wesnoth):
I cannot reproduce the problem. When I create units and two different genders
are available then it is chosen randomly when the random gender box is checked
and not randomly if it is not checked. Elvish Archer or Human Mage seem to
work so I think others should too.
Tested with trunk and r53183 built with cmake/Ubuntu and trunk built with
cmake/archlinux.
What unit does not work for you?
