Details:
Flying units continue to flap their wings and, in fact, any unit continues its
idle animation after being petrified.
To see this put a bunch of bats onto a map in debug mode (or drakes over
water), then type (copy and paste)
:lua wesnoth.require("lua/helper.lua").set_wml_action_metatable{}.petrify{}
which simply petrifies all units on the map.
