Details:
The team dialog is partly untranslateable. It seems as if the "save_id" is
used instead of the side name in the turn dialog. The easiest way to see the
issue:
1) Start Wesnoth
2) Activate the turn dialog in the preferences
3) In any language start the tutorial (it is also visible in English!)
3) Click through the dialogs until the turn dialog pops up. It should look
like in the attached screenshot with "human_player" instead of the
translateable team name ("Konrad")
In the 1.12 branch this is where the (translateable) string comes from:
#: src/playsingle_controller.cpp:785
msgid "It is now $name|’s turn"
Another place where this might be visible (depending on the translation used!)
is in TRoW where the team name is "Prince Haldric" which is likely to be
translated.
This seems to be an old and longstanding issue.
