Follow-up Comment #8, bug #22774 (project wesnoth): shadowmaster wrote: _Do note that there are tags for which empty contents actually have a meaning and effect, such as [redraw], [lock_view], and [unlock_view]. WML authors are also able to use Lua to define their own parameterless tags._
I don't think this is a good argument. You could still insert [redraw], see “Reason 2, code B” in my previous post. If you ask also “code A” inserts [redraw], then you ask a special behaviour of the insert_tag mechanism: You ask an exception that would allow you to insert a code, but not to have to create the (empty) code first. (In general, you need to have a code, only then you can insert it by insert_tag.) _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://gna.org/bugs/?22774> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Gna! http://gna.org/ _______________________________________________ Wesnoth-bugs mailing list Wesnoth-bugs@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/wesnoth-bugs
