I noticed that someone locked the thread incorrectly claiming there was no more to discuss. I think a nice feature would be popup every time the data was going to be sent that would a remind someone that they have the feature on and let them OK or cancel sending the data on a case by case basis. Also of note is that some people have dial on demand networking and don't want some app triggering phone calls, regardless of the privacy implications. This could also get someone in trouble.
