Dear Oguzu Denis Lee, Thanks for the great initiative of recognizing academic achievers from Maracha. As a son of the soil, I have equally been concerned about the declining academic performance at virtually all levels of education in Maracha and West Nile at large. I think this is a good approach by tackling the problem right from primary school level. I hope this is just the begining and probably this award will grow to also recognize students at secondary and tertiary schools level. I will not be able to attend the function but please know that we are fully behind such developmental initiatives. I urge other gallant sons and daughters from Maracha and friends to support the organizers of this function in what ever way possible. My pledge is 50,000 Shs. Please let me know how I can send it.
