Is it me, or is there something really strange going on with libtool? I tried updating Wget's libtool, but libtool 1.5 is *still* unavailable from the GNU FTP site and its mirrors. It points to a "BACK-RSN" type of file that explains how they've been compromised, and so on.
Are we supposed to be using alpha versions or simply check it out from CVS? Am I the only dinosaur who is still attempting to use released versions of the tools from the "toolchain"? :-) If someone has experience with this, please shed some light on this before I go visit the libtool mailing list and share my bitterness[1] with the world. [1] Bitterness cause of the day: their documentation pretty much openly says "fuck you" to anyone not using Automake.
