Incorrect autoreplies come from clients that do not understand the "precedence: bulk" header. So the problem is not with the mail server that hosts the list.
As for the big bug with BCC headers, I am not sure what that has got to do with faulty autoreplies - especially as I had already referred to the autoreply discussion itself as being off-topic. But anyway, there IS a small bug with the IMail server that only occurs in certain situations - and it's logged and being fixed. "Other uses is to control automatic replies and to control return-of-content facilities, and to stop mailing list loops." The problem is that the same definition also says "Non-standard, controversial, widely used." Which explains why many autoresponders get it right and some do not.
