Try Toolbar > Configure > Map Settings
and uncheck the optional map view boxes.

Help.....
On WUG 7.0 is there a way to disable the option tabs on the bottom of each
map.. I need that screen space back. Can they be put back on the tool bar
? Also the maps will not shrink down as small at the prior release. I did
try editing each map and looked for items on the edges.
