After applying this patch the Whatsup service will not cleanly stop.
When I try stop the service it times out and the service show the status
as "Stopping". The service was starting/stopping just fine before the
patch.

Anyone any ideas?

 Hi Gang,

Just a quick note to let you know that the patch that fixes
those pesky WhatsUp Gold 8.x memory leaks is now available for general
distribution.

 Here's what the patch does--

 * Fixes Buffer overrun in SNMPGrph.exe
 * Fixes a memory leak that occurred during polling
(SNMPGrph.exe)
 * Fixes a memory leak when monitoring Windows Events
(WinEvnt.exe)

 Here's where you get it--

 Cheers!
