Brian,

What happens when you restart the WUG server?  I've seen the WUG application
fail to ping a device - yet be able to ping the same device from the cmd
prompt.  Restarting the machine running WUG will correct the problem.

To me, it's one of those unfortunate WUG 'shrug' bugs.  :)
