That could be two nice projects for wicket-stuff. Someone has to start them though. I've made a couple of simple XUL pages in the past. It's quite easy to do. All you need is to create a corresponding component hierarchy. I don't know how client server interaction works - that might be an issue - but one of the plans we have is to further flexibilize (is that English?) our URL parsing/ state handling so that that could be better supported too.
OpenLazlo is markup based (XML) too, right? If it is, the same rules apply meaning you should be able to do most of it right now.
