We use Redirects to bring up pages quickly, Cards have every Set Number they were released under redirect to the card itself, to assist with non-English card searches. I can type DB1-FR001 to automatically bring up the card that was released under that ID, without knowing it's English name.
The behaviour previously was that Double Redirects didn't go to the destination article, this allowed them to be fixed easier. Now, we have to wait for the Double Redirects Special Page to have its cache updated so we can see them. They can be edited manually, but this is a huge pain.
