Characterising the hearsay in comment #37 as "research" and then attacking it
on that basis is rather bizarre. It's just something someone told me on IRC.
All I wanted in comment #37 was a rigorous review of the issues. I still
haven't seen such a review, just a contrary opinion on a mailing list.

Yes, it's quite easy to do. If the lot of you got together and wrote code
instead of arguing about it on a bug report, it'd be done by now. Then I'd have
code to review.

I'm not interested in writing requirements documents at this time. I will
review code when it comes to me (and when I have time).
