At least a hack is known for switching off the useless animations - what is the hack to replace the ultra slow collapsing which freezes my whole browser for 30 seconds when I open my watchlist? Hey, it did collapse with 1.17 too - why is there a need to break working stuff? Not everyone has an up to date pc with lots of processing power to waste. Btw: did you thought about developing countries?
