It's pretty unlikely unless as a hack, since general code taking advantage of it would fail on MySQL and PostgreSQL. My guess is that it's more likely to break things as it did here, particularly since it uses a transformed MySQL schema and so likely uses BLOB for almost all fields intended to hold strings. Hacks would probably be findable by looking for code that's checking `$wgDBtype` or `$lb->getServerType( ... )` or the like against `'sqlite'`, if someone wants to look.
