Ottomata added a comment. Hm, @gwicke, if Mediawiki has access to schemas, and is relatively sure that it can produce valid messages for a given topic, why should a Mediawiki client use EventBus at all? They can produce directly to Kafka, bypassing the HTTP and proxying overhead of EventBus.
