Hi Everyone, A short article, OERu: Increasing access to post-secondary education<http://www.col.org/news/Connections/2011jun/Pages/Partners.aspx>is featured in the June 2011 edition in the Partners section of Connections published by the Commonwealth of Learning (or page 11 of the pdf version<http://www.col.org/SiteCollectionDocuments/Connections_June2011.pdf>.) We are sharing the Partner's stage with the UNESCO-COL Chair in OER at Athabasca University. Rory McGreal, the holder of the Chair, is also member of the Board of Directors of the OER Foundation.
WE've made considerable progress from humble wiki beginnings -- we are now hosting international planning discussions to enable free learning opportunities for all students worldwide. I had a hunch that 2011 would be a watershed year for the mainstream adoption of OER in post-secondary education. Let's hope these hunches turn into reality!
