If I understand correctly, the main objective is to cut it into digestible
pieces. Wouldn't this be much easier if you just change the form by hand
every time the category hits 2500 (or something)? Then sometimes you might
have 2000, sometimes 3500, but it would be the same order of magnitude. I
can already predict that the days in the beginning will be much slower than
at the end :)
