Hi,

Good point Sara ! I really need to write a QuickStatements vs. OpenRefine
guideline someday...

In a nutshell: both tools are similar and used to import data into
Wikidata. QuickStatements is (arguably) a bit easier and quicker to use but
less powerful (it doesn't spot duplicates, don't do reconciliation, etc.).
In the end, I guess it depends on how many monuments of Malta already have
items on Wikidata and what/how much data you want to import.
If there are more than ~20 % with items then creating duplicates is a bad
idea (more time will be lost afterward to spot and correct the duplicate)
and you should prefer OpenRefine. But you can also try to spot the
duplicate before and still use QuickStatement.

In both cases, if you need help, don't hesitate to ask.

Meanwhile, here is a quick query showing items already on Wikidata for
things in Malta with an heritage designation : https://w.wiki/Y7$ (I see 10
type of heritage in this list: 3 being related to World Heritage Site, one
for Nature, one for Inventory and types who looks more-or-less like the
heritage in England : Class A, Class B, Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3) which
allows to do this first draft map : https://w.wiki/Y85

Cheers, ~nicolas
