If I have to create a bespoke template etc. it'll need to wait until tomorrow
as I don't have the capacity for that today; I'm on the road because of my day
job until tomorrow morning. I don't dare attempt something like this on my
mobile!
Hopefully someone else can pick this up accordingly in the meantime, but if
it's still unresolved by tomorrow morning I should be able to give it my full
attention again. It is indeed surprising that such a key template has such
restrictive editing permissions on it.

relies solely on a handful of people). It might be advisable to create your own

would be https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Template:WikiDaheim_is_running ).

I have a feeling that the solution is just a matter of editing a template, but
I'm not sure which template needs editing exactly.
We would greatly appreciate any direct help or suggestions to fix this.
