James & Monica,

I have been an Account Creator
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Account_creator> in the past & am
identified to WMF. Someone revoked that privilege last year because the
last time that I used those rights was in May 2015. I plan to come to both
Editing as Activism events at UW Bothell & think it would be good to get it
the Account Creator role back because I think we will be stepping up
Cascadia edit-a-thons & GLAM activities in 2017.

So https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/CentralNotice is the place to go for
Geonotice banners? I was told to use https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/
Wikipedia:Geonotice, but the request that I put there for the Cascadia
Wikimedians annual meeting did not get picked up. A response to my query
why not indicating that after posting the Geonotice request, we should also
notify [[WP:AN]]

Yours,
Peaceray
