When you "lock" the form, can't you decide what is allowed?

Once I lock the sheet I was unable to copy and paste a picture (free hand
signature) into it as it said it I can't paste in a drawing as it isn't text
or any of the few other options I could have made that input box.

 If you use the forms as templates there shouldn't be any reason why you
can't copy & paste or whatever you want.
