Yup, just went through this with one of my clients a couple weeks ago,
motherboard with onboard intel video. IIRC, you right click on the desktop >
properies > advanced > video utilities (can't remember exact name) and the
next page has a rotation tab, set it back to zero and you're good to go.

Try Ctrl-alt-Up for normal mode, Ctrl-alt-Down rotates 180� or upside down. At least that's how it works in my INTEL(R) EXTREME GRAPHICS properties.
