I did resolve my problem. The recent documents were showing, but I wanted
more than 15 to display. You can increase the number either by editing the
registry by hand, or by a tweak program called x-setup. It's very nice to
have more. But it's nice also to know that you can really see the whole
megillah through Run.

Even quicker would be a desktop shortcut to "C:\Documents and
Settings\XXXXXXX\Recent".
