Thank you.  This also has link to another product which appears like it will be 
very useful .."transcription buddy" .. which can be evaluated for a month for 
free and then licensed .. it is supposed to enable you to use the mouse to 
start and stop the audio so you can transcribe the tape and comes with optional 
foot pedal for "professional transcribers".
