Okay, replaced a clients machine with a newer one, she was running win98
before and we got her up to XP Pro, did a fresh install, copied over all her
data and installed all her software.

Now however when she attempts to print cheques, nothing happens, any reports
and such print fine. Printing a cheque results in a job showing up in the
printer queue (Brother HL1030 connected direct via LPT cable) for like 10
seconds and then disappearing. All other printing is fine. I've looked at
the printer setup in SA and it's as it should be.

The only way I could get the cheques to print is to set the printer
properties to print direct to the printer without spooling. Anyone seen this
before?

Googling hasn't turned up anything of any use yet.
