Hi everyone,
I am in a personal dilemma. Was told my business site is all done wrong as
in meta tags and there is not title. So, I talked with a webmaster who does
some sites that I am familiar with the business. One is a very large
alternative medical practice. He said he charges 1500 to meta tag it and
get it up in the search engines. After I explained to him that my business
is very small, and I may have to work a year to make that pay off, he said
he would do it and redesign it for 400. I told him I did not have the money
and he said pay as you can. That he would do a mockup for me to look at.
I've met the man, he is not well, and just felt really bad that he was
having hard times and said ok. He did not meet the time frame, I've only
seen a partial mockup and he is furious with me that I don't want the MS
blue anywhere. He told me just now in an email that he'd make the scroll
overs red and there would be green and red like a Christmas tree!!

Right now, I'm feeling vulnerable as I don't know if my current page is
really wrong with the view source info. I don't know what to do or where to
turn, and not being a business woman, having that experience, and, having an
extra soft heart, I'd like to tell him just forget it. In fact I tried last
week, I offered to send him a check for his time so far and that I did not
want him to do more. He wrote back saying he did not go back on his word
and he would get it online.

Now, all I want is advice and I'm trying to get ready for a big seminar that
and I'm totally stressed out. Daddy, where are you?

I'm not wanting to put anyone's name out there, but the new guy told me that
the man who put my site up did everything wrong. Any advice? I sure need
it.
