Hello All,
I know that XP-SP2 has been beat to death, but I don't remember this being
covered.
Of course, I'm over 60 and therefore entitled to senior moments.
I finally bit the bullet and installed SP2 on my XP-Pro system.
Drive C: is a Western Digital 40GB, formatted FAT32.
Drive D: is a Seagate 100GB, formatted NTFS.
Drive D: is where I keep my documents, my downloads and the majority of my
applications. Some dating back to 1992.
I have ALL the MS updates installed.
After installing SP2: on startup, it does a disk check of the NTFS drive
every time.
WHY?
This was not happening before installing SP2.
Just extremely puzzled,
Robert
