Plug the power cord into a timer locked in a strong lock box. Seal the AC timer plug to the wall outlet by some kind of break-away mud that dries that only the computer owner has access to. Seal the power cord connection to the computer likewise. Do a thorough visual inspection daily to see if either of the two seals have been broken.

I think it would be easier to put the computer in the LR or someplace that rents walk by often & then turn the thing off when it's time for the kid to go to bed. My B-I-L had 20 something guys knocking on his door Christmas morning trying to get in to see his 15 yr old daughter who had told the guys on the Internet that she was 21.
