I'm glad to report that the beta that I was on is over & now instead of
Windows Update one can take advantage of Microsoft Update which will take
care of your OS & Office apps all in one update site. Read more about it at

Sorry but it does NOT work for 98 but does work for XP, 2k (Sp3 or
greater), Office (XP or greater), Server 2k3, Exchange Server (2k or
greater) & SQL Server (2kSp4 or greater).
