When I opened the message, I found that Jim McQueeney had written:

When I click on it I get an error message that the Volume Control
Program has not been installed and to go to the Control Panel to
install it.

Will I need my WinXP disk to install it? That'll be a problem
since we moved six months ago and it'll be three years before we
get everything back in order <smile>. XP came on this machine
and the disc is probably still in the box it came in out in one of my
garages.

I can get a replacement disk, can't I? Isn't that what some of the
recent thread was about?

Maybe that's the problem, yes?

Thanks,

Jim
