I have an icon on my desktop that I use to shutdown my system therefore I
use the power key as a hibernate key. The Power Options/Advanced tab are in
the Control Panel & this is where one would set the key for the Power or
Sleep Buttons. If you have a Sleep button you could set that to Hibernate &
leave the Power button untouched but I don't see a way to set this to a
Function Key combo. If you have a MSFT multimedia keyboard than you could
program any of the top row of keys to any command sequence you want in a
script file then run that when the certain key was pressed.
