I have a Minolta Maxxum 7000 film Camera that will not work with 4 NiCd
rechargeable batteries. At least one has to be an alkaline-type battery. And
to make it stranger, the alkaline has to be in a specific position. The
manual does warn that the camera requires four AAA 1.5v alkaline-manganese
batteries. I never had a problem with the mixing, which the manual also
warns against. Just an FYI.
