Marc,
I've used this to have the root of C:\ expanded by default, but is there a
way to specify two (2) folders to open? I would like to have C:\ and D:\
expanded.
Thanks,
Jim

Yes you can create multiple shortcuts to explorer.exe to open the views in
the ways you want. Just create a new
shortcut to Windows Explorer with any of the following commandlines of your
choice below.
You can create explorer.exe shortcuts for these views:
explorer.exe /e,/root,C:\ opens explorer with the root C:\
expanded in dual folder view window pane.
explorer.exe /select,C:\ open explorer with the root C:\My
Computer selected.
explorer.exe /e,C:\My Documents opens explorer under C:\My Documents
expanded subfolders. In Windows 9x.
Explorer.exe /e,C:\Documents And Settings Ditto under Windows XP.
