This message below is confusing because he quoted from one message two different posters but it could have looked as if he only quoted the paragraph with the indents (>) and wrote all of the next two paragraphs, when I know from just reading the previous message that this is not so. I think this is worse than having the entire sixteen messages appending to the top and then a one line answer at the bottom, if it was at the top at least you do not have to wade thru it all.

And I'm the same way but on the other side: if someone posts something that starts with a sentence that makes no sense at all and there's no obvious context within the first few lines, instead of clicking SCROLL to try to figure out WTH they're talking about, I delete the message. Nothing like reading "I agree" and having to guess what they agree with, or getting a message that starts with a URL and having to guess what the URL is about... Too many people believe that because THEY can remember what threads are about, their correspondents may have read hundreds of messages on scores of different topics before their reply/followup arrives and might well appreciate some help on figuring out what the topic at hand is.... /Bernie\ -- Bernie Cosell Fantasy Farm Fibers mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Pearisburg, VA --> Too many people, too few sheep <-- -- ---------------------------------------- To Change your email Address for this list, send the following message: CHANGE WIN-HOME your_old_address your_new_address to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Note carefully that both old and new addresses are required. -- ---------------------------------------- To Change your email Address for this list, send the following message: CHANGE WIN-HOME your_old_address your_new_address to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Note carefully that both old and new addresses are required.
