I'll admit I haven't followed this thread closely - but there is a new OE 6
patch that fixes some of the line problems that caused people to use QP. It was
released a few weeks ago and also fixes a problem with replies in newsgroups.

Change to Mime: none.
Note: This will only affect others who reply to your messages.
Nothing can be done about the lack of ">" when replying to
a message that was composed with OE's Mime:QP option.
