I'd pick up a router (almost free after rebates), and a couple of Cat 5 cables from the net. I would think we're talking PCs that already have NICs.
I don't like running one PC thru another; then ya gotta run both for the step-child to connect. Heck, I bet you could put a wireless card in them and mooch off a neighbor. ;^) Bruce -----Original Message----- From: Windows Home/SOHO [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Kylde Sent: Monday, August 22, 2005 2:51 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Simple network question yep, thats what I meant, I use it here with an ME machine connected via my XP ICS, setup was flawless using the network wizard. Another option for simple access without ICS is to run analogx's "Proxy", setup of that is even easier. Keeps the cost down to a short CAT5 lead :) Jim wrote on 22/08/2005, 20:43: > They're both running XP. What about ICS. I haven't really read that much > about it. What about that??
