In addition, I have used a Motorola g card with great success. I tried it
after a Linksys card install tanked my system on 3 consecutive attempts to
install it. I thought, "What the hell?" might as well try it. And it's about
one-third cheaper than the bigger brand names.

3com or SMC, both support (specific models) WPA under win9x.
