It appears that there are wireless cards, that work on laptops with win98se
:-)
The Linksys mentioned here also appeared in comments as a bad choice, when I
was "mining" the net for info on the D-Link I bought. Both apparently are
bad choices.
A very generous person on this list offered me a "no longer needed"
wireless card, which I will wait for, at this point. If that does not work,
for some reason, I will give those you recommend a try, if found at a
reasonable price.
